My Future is Not Looking So Good

No, I am not talking about the fact that all our money is still in WaMu or that the election just gets crazier every day, or that we no longer have cable, satellite, OR rabbit ears for our tv or even that business is really slowing down.  Actually, as I reflect upon my long day I realize that I just ate a Mexican casserole that was packed full of chili powder, tomatoes, green peppers, and chilies!!!  And to top it off, I’ve nearly scarfed down the entire bag of Snickers that totally satisfied!!  And what do I have to say for myself?  “What the heck was I thinking?”  I feel fine, but it will be a different story for poor little Joshy tonight my husband just informed me.  My punishment: oh probably about 5 trips to the boys’ bedroom to calm a gassy baby tonight and on into the early hours of tomorrow morning!  I should really think before I open my mouth =o)

  1. So, how did it go? I remember doing similar things when I was nursing, and then thinking, “oh no! This is going to be terrible for the baby!” But, most of the time, nothing happened. What a relief!

  2. I hope you (and baby Josh) survived! Been there…done that…I too have a weakness for Mexican food and Snickers (especially lately). Good luck, my friend!

  3. That post was just too funny and made me laugh. I hope everything went o.k. Plus it made my mouth water. Mexican sounds really good right now.
